If I urinate frequently, do I have to give up coffee entirely?

If you experience frequent urges to urinate, it is very important to always drink enough fluids. However, coffee—as well as black tea, caffeinated soft drinks, and alcohol—has a strong diuretic effect. Therefore, try to limit your coffee consumption as much as possible and, during longer appointments away from home, avoid it entirely if possible to prevent having to use the restroom too frequently. You’ll quickly notice that even reducing your intake of these beverages has a positive effect.

How can odor problems associated with urinary incontinence be prevented?

To prevent unpleasant odors or skin irritation, the affected areas should always be thoroughly cleaned with water or, when on the go, with a wet wipe.
