Romulsin
In the heart of Burgdorf, around fifteen people mix creams, lotions and shower products, fill them and ship them. That is how Diacosa AG makes some eighty products, under GMP and in cleanrooms that are inspected externally every year. Romulsin has been around since 1984.
Otto Ryser bought the company, founded in 1960, in 1966 and put people and the structure of their skin at the center. Today his son Peter Ryser, a pharmacist with a Swiss federal diploma, runs the business as owner with the same basic idea. At Diacosa the goal is called “well-being in your own skin”.
Diacosa derives its formulations from the skin's natural metabolism and pays attention to the balance of acids and bases. Plant extracts and essential oils are added, wherever possible from certified organic raw materials, for example to Ecocert. The company says it does without preservatives, and products are filled in PET.
Diacosa even treats its water in house. It is purified, filtered and finally run over rose quartz, amethyst and rock crystal.
The team also includes people who have found a steady job here again after a difficult time. For its products made in Burgdorf, Diacosa has carried the SWISS LABEL with the crossbow since 2015.
Romulsin is made for care that has to be quick. Wash cream 3in1, care shower gel and care shampoo handle daily body care, moisturizing, hand and foot creams care for the skin afterwards, and the skin protection ointment with calendula oil goes where the skin has to cope with the most. There is dedicated care for mouth, lips and nose, and for the last phase of life the palliative care set. If you need a lot, take the Budget bottles of 500 ml.
